Infants and Toddlers (birth through 5 years old)

Empowering Young Minds, One Story at a Time

At Storytellers, we believe that every child is a unique individual with their own story to tell. Our approach to child therapy is centered on:

  • Harnessing Strengths: We work to identify and nurture each child's unique strengths, empowering them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Respecting Individuality: We recognize that every child is different and deserves to be treated with respect and understanding. We value their perspectives and encourage them to express themselves freely.
  • Bringing Joy: Therapy can sometimes be challenging, but we strive to create a fun and welcoming environment where children feel safe and supported. We believe that incorporating play and creativity can make the therapeutic process more enjoyable and effective.

Expertise

In the early years of her clinical practice as a therapist, Elizabeth noticed the concerns many parents were sharing about young children and the lack of available therapeutic care. Elizabeth sought additional training to fill this gap by attending and completing a 2-year postgraduate clinical practice certificate from the Harris Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Training Institute in Phoenix, Arizona in 2017.

Parenting / Caregiving consultation services

Caring for children can be complex and challenging. We all want to do our best to set our children up to be the healthiest versions of themselves that they can be. However, with so many conflicting messages provided through books and online material, it can be difficult for caregivers and parents to decide what steps they want to take. In providing this service Elizabeth’s goal is to meet you where you are at and help you identify caregiving/parenting skills to utilize that validate your cultural identification and family goals.

This service is provided both in the office and via HIPAA-secured Telehealth.

This service is not available to therapy clients.

Consultation services do not qualify for insurance reimbursement. See our Rates and Insurance page for more information.
